As this is now the collecting portion of the forum, I feel this is the right home (if you will) to post about deals and offers that are out there for individuals who have not added certain games to their collections.

I am going to start first by saying, if you have not already added the EU limited edition of Superbeat XONiC to your collection, head on over to Rising Star Games' store, they have a sale on and have slashed the price to £34.99: http://www.risingstargames.com/eu/produ ... d-edition/ - PSVita

Also, Rice Digital still have stock of their exclusive limited edition of BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma entitled, The Chibi Heroes Edition: http://www.ricedigital.co.uk/store/blaz ... on-ps-vita - PSVita (PS4 version here: http://www.ricedigital.co.uk/store/blaz ... dition-ps4)

Lastly, you cannot go wrong with a copy of Corpse Party Blood Drive from Rice Digital too, as they have the Everafter edition back in stock for the PAL release. I bought a copy of it and it actually came with the 2 pin-jack mascot figurines that was released with the Heavenly Host edition (also on their site) too and it was only £39.99. However, just because mine came with those figurines, does not mean all orders will be shipped with them. Although, if you do order it and they arrive with the item, then you too have scored for them at a cheaper price than what the Heavenly Host edition originally goes for: http://www.ricedigital.co.uk/store/corp ... on-ps-vita - PSVita

Just a thought if we are going to use this thread a lot. If you list games can you please also list next to them what system they are for. I Do not have a vita and would hate to keep clicking into vita games.

Good thinking Batman! I have changed to state the releases as Vita, as well as the BlazBlue release showing the PS4 release of the edition also.

I know sprites already mentioned them in the original post, but Rising Star's own shop is a good place if you want to get hold of a European 3DS Virtue's Last Reward. I noticed yesterday that it doesn't seem to be too common; no retail online stores in Sweden has it and I couldn't find any new copies on eBay. Amazon had a few German versions for £24 and some copy listed as the normal one (but dispatched from Germany) for £49. Rising Star themselves; £17, and I wouldn't say the shipping was too expensive either (£4 to Sweden for two games). While I don't know which language I'll get on the box here, even if it would turn out to be German it's definitely cheaper than anywhere else I found, even without being a part of their sale.

They also have a few other games that might be worth checking out, though for those I haven't made any checks if they're available anywhere else for less.

EDIT: I just checked up on the other game I ordered from them; the Collector's Edition of Hakuoki for the 3DS, and it's not available in Sweden, and while available on eBay and Amazon, this was about half the price compared to what they want (if Limited and Collector's Edition are the same, I'm not 100% sure). I'm satisfied with my purchase so far, at least. :D

This might not be EXACTLY what this thread was supposed to be about, but I still want to throw it out there that the active Humble Bundle (valid 12 more days) is for Game Maker Professional + a lot of plugins. I'm sure most people here know about the site, but I don't think I've ever seen a bundle that includes such expensive things. For $15 you get a complete package with Game Maker Studio Professional, HTML5 plugin, iOS/Android/UWP plugins with a 99% discount compared to if buying it through Steam normally.

So with all that included it's just to start coding, make a good game, get it released on all possible formats, and have LRG do a run for the PS4 and VITA versions of it. Easy. :D

Good call wowgek7. However, you can get this title at Walmart for $9.99 right now. Remember, you have to really watch out for shipping with playasia.com. I shop with them maybe once a month. It's a small shipping price for this size of an item. However, it can be costly especially when it comes to limited edition titles. Maybe it's because I am in California and the taxes are the highest in the U.S. and the shipping cost is bull crap. Oh well...good call wowgek7.

Assuming the Wal-Mart version is the US version, that one's not actually a card. It's just a download voucher in a box. This Asian release is an actual game card.

I wanted to mention last week that if you can grab this at this price, then get it for collectable purposes. Let me know if any of you need one. Disney Infinity Marvel Super Heroes 2.0 Edition pack for $14.99 at Gamestop.

Playasia.com has a wonderful deal for today only. I have a copy, but this is an absolute stunner:

http://www.play-asia.com/one-piece-unli ... /13/707lhv

Note: Playasia.com runs these deals daily. I would suggest getting up about 7:00a.m. wherever you are each day just to see what they have for sale. These deals run for 24 hours and there is a countdown timer at the bottom of each daily deal. Happy shopping and gaming everyone.

Wow....I have to say something about my most recent post prior to this one to everyone, all retailers, and developers for the PS Vita platform/system.

http://www.play-asia.com/one-piece-unli ... /13/707lhv

This game actually sold out just as fast as a limitedrungames release. This gets me to thinking about this entire PS Vita discussion and popularity of the so-called defunct system. Let's stop that rhetoric right there. To be honest, the PS Vita is alive and well with a huge following. Take note developers. When I posted the above link about two hours ago PST(Pacific Standard Time) there ware about 417 left at $9.99 each. That price point and sheer volume for this one specific title speaks volumes itself. If maybe one retailer and developer looks at my response, then at least they will get an idea that the PS Vita is getting overwhelmingly positive support. Developers may not care about this because the overall objective of most businesses are to gain/turn a profit. Or maybe many developers or retailers are purely loyal enthusiasts of the PS Vita and just want to create games for the passion of gaming.

I think that the likes of playasia.com, online retailers, and mom-and-pop stores will also notice that coming in at this price point is not a bad idea as well. This is a prime example of what can happen when you sale a game as playasia.com did in such a short time span. Hmmm....I wonder what the staff at playasia.com is thinking at this point. They're probably scrambling and thinking "We should do a mass sale like this soon.We rocked it. Now we have to get these orders out quickly." As I watch their daily deals every single day for the past year, I have not seen a release of this magnitude on the PS Vita in a while for any PS Vita game that is brand new. And from any retailer in a while. In summary, it is a pretty impressive overall sale from playasia.com none the least. I am curious what the PS Vita loyal fans across the globe thinks about this price point and quick sale-out of this game? Please...I would like to hear you comments. It is greatly appreciated. Be civil and respectful of each other with your responses. God bless you all. Happy gaming and shopping. :D

Does Playasia put a limit on how many copies a single person can order of a game? If not, then it could be that some people ordered multiple (maybe a whole lot) of copies in order to resell at a higher cost.

Hey BuradooRun. Good question. I thought about that when I was typing. One would want to know what is the purchasing limit that playasia.com or other retailers have when it comes to purchasing multiple copies of any game for that matter. I don't know. Limitedrungames does make it clear about their limit right before they release a title or two. We all here know that. I've purchased a couple of games from them for the daily deal, however, I never paid attention to how many copies one can add to their cart. Now you have me wondering if we will see many of these copies pop up on the likes of ebay.com, amazon.com, or even craigslist. The next time they have a game I want during the daily deal I will be sure to experiment with the checkout portion of my order and see. Again, excellent question and comment.

I was actually going to buy this game the other day but decided to wait and I check playasia every day to see if they have any offers. Today I checked the page a little later than usual and the game was already gone :(
At that price it was an absolute steal...hopefully it gets back in stock even if not at that price.

Yeah sym30l1c....wowgek actually corrected me in the chat earlier this afternoon and stated that it sold out in less than two hours easily. It was nice to see that the PS Vita is still alive and kicking. I have so much love and passion for the system. I may not want all the games for the Vita platform, but I would take many of the original OLED models any day. Especially that white OLED original Vita that came with the Assassins Creed bundle. I really want that one.

Playasia.com has 652 Mind Zero copies for the PS Vita for $22.99(USD) today only. Only 20 hours left until this deal is gone. Now, playasia also has The Wolf Among Us for the PS Vita brand new as well for $13.99 as a weekly deal. Let's get pumped about tomorrow people. Two releases from LImited Run Games. Now, back to the BlackFriday section of the forum and blasting my Charlie Brown cartoons while I clean the house. Got a little headless horseman on tap for Halloween as well. I love some "Little Birdie" from the peanuts gang.

If anyone is interested in grabbing a normal-cover version of the Retro City Rampage retail release, it's 30% off at $19.99 at the moment;
https://vblank-entertainment.myshopify.com/

The same 30% applies for the SNES-like PC release.

I'm guessing most people interested already got this during the first run or at least during the "gold text" reprint, but if you want the normal cover variant to put right next to your gold text variant then this is your shot I'd say!

Ah, I never checked that number. I wonder how many of the total print run went to other places though; videogamesplus has the game in stock too so I wonder if he shipped it out to some different retail sites? Not seen it anywhere else though so it might just be VGP. Looking forward to the next one; the RCR game itself is fun so I suspect no less from a sequel and I must say that I give some cred to Vblank for being one of the first to start releasing games like this for the PS4 and VITA.
